Lack of restful sleep makes you more open to the power of suggestion.
A quiet voice – one that has become familiar and usually friendly- can suggest you kill yourself while you are asleep.
You might just wake up depressed.
You might wake up in front of your medicine cabinet.
You might never wake up.
The first two have happened to me.
The latter happened to a neighbor before I could wake everyone- she was rushed to the hospital but it was too late.
The sound structure is there.
It’s more than possible.
Keep you agitated and awake, manipulate your dreams when you can finally sleep, and get you used to a friendly guide. Worse, maybe it becomes part of an inner monologue.
Be wary of helpful voices, be wary of anything interfering with your own REM. And try to get those sound devices offline.
All it takes is a shove.
And we have mass suicide on our hands
Meanwhile lock your medicine in a lock box and bury it under your bed.
